In our house, we sing. We make up songs, I should say. Mainly jumbled bips and bops of random thoughts and feels. That is... the songs don't make much sense to the outside ear.
Our neighbor, Lily, heard them when we first moved in and for the longest time she felt out of loop-- she didn't catch the references. The day finally came when she realized: we sing random words of nonsense and silliness, the references are our own. No need for feeling left out of the mad house.
The latest chirp from the household goes like this: "Chicken clown, chicken clown, goin to town with my chicken clown." This song is about chicken clowns, and this soap is enhanced by our chickens, so I thought I would add this anecdote here.
I am now thinking now that we should rename this soap: "Chicken Clown." I'll have to run that one up the flagpole to myself.
She looks plain, but on the inside she has so much verve--bedazzled by life.
