Terrazzo's origins as a decorative finish reach as far back as ancient Egypt, but Venetian artisans popularized the beautiful design 500 years ago. They took discarded chips from marble slabs and imbedded them into concrete mixtures then ground down the surfaces of their terraces (hence, "terrazzo") for a smooth finish.
Our terrazzo is a mix of less than perfect green and white soaps cut into pieces and then thoughtfully reunited into a lovely, pink background. Because recycling!
Ingredients: With olive oil, coconut oil, RSPO certified palm oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, castor oil, kaolin clay, goat milk, & sodium lactate. Natural colorants include: chlorella, french green clay, and Himalayan rhubarb.
